# Maximum throughput

My tendency is to write my messages with minimal words. Maximum throughput. Omit needless words.

But in practice, most people need the 12 extra words of social padding to know I’m not mad at them.

Also, as I learned when teaching, verbally, everybody needs a bit of repetition.
